The young Hero labored to breathe. He watched as the digital world that had entrapped them disappear into golden light. A sob from behind him caught his attention. He turn. The young woman stared in disbelief as her hands cascaded into digital dust swirling upwards. Water formed in her eyes as it proceeded to over take her. She looked up to the lonely hero as tears streamed down her cheeks, "But, I thought I was real!?" His eyes glazed over with pity, pain piercing his heart, "I'm sorry. I thought you knew..."
